Kuskovo. Moscow. Russia. September 2015

Kuskovo is one of the most beautiful and interesting place in Moscow. It was Earl Sheremetiev manor. Today it is park area. It was build at the second part of XVIII century in classicism style. It includes palace, park, few pavilions, few ponds, church and museum.

Let's walk through this place.

There is a pond and channel.

I was surprised with the water in the channel. It is 100% transparent and you can see bottom in details.

The Hermitage pavilion. This house was build to spend time only with intended persons. It was not any stairways to the second floor but some kind of elevator. So only the landlord and invited persons could go upstairs.

Holland house. Pond looks like channel in the Holland. When you spend time in this house you feel like you are somewhere in Netherlands. Landlord used this house as dinning hall.

Kuskovo is a really amazing place. As we say in Russia "Must see". Ancient, wonderful place in Moscow fulled with old aristocracy spirit.
